Why annual only?

Because Timescanner is a method, not a subscription you try for a month.

One month of practice is a start. After a few weeks, you begin to see what you're actually billing, what you're quietly giving away for free, and where your energy really goes. That's when the numbers start changing decisions.

Timescanner is a "boring" tool for a "boring" problem. A fixed annual rate, predictable, no configuration. There's no point making it more complicated than that.

What's a forgotten hour worth?

You sell your time. Every untracked hour is money left on the table.

Annual plan · €79/year

1 recovered hour

A client call at 7pm you forgot to bill. A briefing session that ran long. Recover one hour — and the annual plan pays for itself.

Lifetime license · €399

4 recovered hours

Recover four forgotten hours over the year and the lifetime license is paid off. Everything after that is pure profit — year after year, nothing more to pay.

You could build your own Timescanner.

The temptation is real. A spreadsheet, a Python script, a Notion formula. You know what you need — you could probably build something that fits.

Spend more than an hour on it, and you've already spent the annual plan. More than four hours — that's a lifetime license.

I spent 158 hours building Timescanner. Calendar parsing, per-client and per-project breakdown, hourly and flat-rate logic, email delivery, async cron, CSV exports, AI reports. It was interesting to build. It wasn't profitable.

The goal isn't to spend less. It's to earn more. Delegating a €30 task frees up an hour to bill at €100. €70 earned — every single time.

They use their calendar. We do the rest.

"I used to spend my Sunday evenings reconciling hours across 4 clients. Now I open Timescanner and my invoices are ready in 2 minutes."

Frequently asked questions

How does the free trial work?

30 days free, no credit card required. You get access to all features from day one. After the trial, choose a plan or your account switches to read-only.

Can I upgrade from annual to lifetime?

Yes, anytime from your account settings. The switch is immediate. Your current annual subscription won't be refunded, but your lifetime access starts as soon as payment is confirmed.

Are calendars really unlimited?

Yes. With an active subscription, you can sync as many calendars as you want.

What happens if I don't renew?

Your calendars are paused automatically. Your data stays in your own calendar — Timescanner never stores a server-side copy. If you reactivate a subscription, everything resumes automatically.

Are updates included?

Always. Whether you're on annual or lifetime, you get all product updates at no extra cost.
